This is another part of my organic vegie garden. All I use is sheep manure, seasol and pea straw. I keep layering the sheep poo and straw and it becomes a beautiful compost.
Here in Perth, Western Australia we have "Bassendean Sands" Which is grey , gutless sand and repels water. So you must add heaps of organic matter.
Its totally organic , I pick of the grubs and snails and squish them and sometimes I use a product called "Beat - A - Bug" Which is totally garlic and chilli spray - wonderful stuff.
