Haha...great piece...looks like he's telling you where the flush is!!

This was painted just before my eldest son's 21st birthday. That was about 20 years ago. My other son Matt who painted it was instructed to inform guests, attending the garden party, that the loo was to be used to have a pee only. ( the overhead tank having been removed, making flushing impossible).
To be discrete the puti had a speech bubble ( now overpainted) saying " Whot! no loo paper"

Well you did ask.
