Poached egg plant out on the lane, self seeded, but finally gave up the ghost as every one insisted in parking their cars on them when they were not in flour of course. Seeing that it was mostly gravel and no soil it was little wonder they decided to quitt! but I have them popping up in different places. A great plant to dig a chunk up take it in the house place it on a deep dish and water it, it makes a wonderful table centre decoration, when it has finished flowering take it back out and re plant it.

Aunt used to keep a piece of ground at the bottom of the garden specially for her Poached egg plant so she could raise them and re plant, not so easy in the gravel as I had them!!
