This is delicious eaten fresh as "Sweet Corn", but this is allowed to dry and is used as cattle fodder.

Great photo, looked very similar to my dad's cornfield. He just gathered his corn with his combine last week. The deer in the area are now heartbroken, I'm sure. That was like free candy to them.
