My son use to go canoeing , it frightened me to death to watch him roll it over !

i was watching them rolling over yesterday Amy and it does look scary

Kayaking can be great fun, but I will only do it in flat water....no rapids for me!
It can be a great way to fish also.

my son did it with the school last yr and he loved it, but like you Wohlibuli it was on a lake , nice calm water

Whitewater is real big over here . It is a gloomy feeling being on a dam controlled river and the water is being shut off to get some ladies body out from under a rock . It makes you want to stay in your boat .
It is alot of fun though , safety first as always . I would highly suggest it to those of you who like adrenaline .
