My next door neighbour has a large treefern(dicksonia) and normally he wraps it up in bubblewrap and fleece`~this year he hasn't done anything to it, so not sure if he knows something I don't! My cycas revoluta is wearing it's coat of fleece as we speak!
What is the coldest temperature you get?

Thanks Arlene, the recorded coolest Fiji Temperature is 15 degress Celsius and the warmest average temperature is 21 degrees celcius but it can always get hotter. We have two seasons, wet and dry season. The colder months are between June and October and this is more a pleasant time to visit to those of you who are not used to the heat. Right now we are into the warmer season.

Interesting reading about the bubblewrap and coating of trees there for the winter. I hope you've found your neighbours secret by now ;-)
