I'll grab the name and come back, I love it. I shouldn't have gone to the greenhouse, only year round commercial greenhouse, and they had just got all the new plants in. I love this solid leaf form with little fiddle starts for each leaf showing its fern-nesws. :-)

Wonderful! Thanks to you both. :-) I'm very excited, I like the shade of the green, light for a shady spot. I got a rabbits foot also...lol.

I like the rabbit's foot fern too, GT. I've got a few. I made a planter out of a piece old fenceboard. I stapled fiberglass screening on the board to make a pouch and then potted up the plant. I then hot glued dry moss to the screening. Eventually the little 'feet' poked through the screen. I dried holes on the top of the board and put a piece of wire through for hanging. It looks nice. It can dry out easily, so I have to make sure I water it regularly.

I wish it wasn't too damp an area to mount my fern like that inside, Tasteyg. These ferns were the perfect addition to fillin a blank spot that gets low light.

like Gilli, I'm not much good at ferns either, GT. Would love to have a conservatory...I think that might be the ticket. the house is too dry for them and I'm not one for spraying or misting... guess I had just better suck it up and get to it, right? do what the poor fern needs to get through the winter.
I love birdsnest ferns and TG's fenceboard planter sounds like a tempting idea.
