I think they're day lilies.
What I meant was they're the same colour as dafodills - so at first glance that's what I thought they were.
But they're obviously not daffs.

Lori I have no idea how many plants, but the front garden is about 600metres wide, and they have these lillys planted in L shape.... I would say thousands.... and they adopted the area in front which divides the road... also planted with lillys... is an astonishing view all covered with yellow.
I though you all from GOY would like it. :o)

Fabulous sight for the flowering season though.

One thing about the lemon lilies is that they have abundant foliage and the clumps have a linear, fountain-like appearance.... I think it would look as attractive after blossoming...but they blossom continuously don't they?
