Seedlings

You can get away with year round veggies, can't you? :-) I was surprized to see seedlings in December!

I'm hoping to grow this cool weather stuff in the greentent until spring. This pic is of Kale and Swiss Chard. Fingers crossed!

They can grow under snow with protection like this. I'm guessing you'll have great success.

I think I like the look of the short pink one with the straw and red flower. I'll be right over !! :o)

My favorite is the tall blue one. Jamaican rum and pineapple juice, white cranberry juice with a little Blue Curacao to give it that color. We named it "The Blue Hole" after a tourist area in Ocho Rios, Jamaica where my hubby lived during the 60's. YUMMY!!
We saw this pic and as something to entertain ourselves we tried to invent drinks that looked just like these. The green was was made with melon liquor and was not liked by anyone!
This was also a way to teach my children who have now come to the age to drink legally, how to drink responsibly.
It is something that is expected of an adult who drinks and if you don't teach them, I think they may drink too much. Just one of my many soapboxes!
