Wow..., she's adorable. My sister-in-law would LOVE to have this one. She's a Betty Boop collector !

I used to collect Boopabellia too. I stopped though. I was getting too much of it. OMG, I've got so much of her stuff! Plus, I'm really picky about it... she looks really weird sometimes, distorted or something. Every once in a while if I see something super cute, I'll get it. I've got two tattoos of her. I really love the old Max Fleischer cartoons of her. I love old animation, like Mickey and Bugs.

Tasteyg, I bought my sister-in-law some Betty Boop pajamas this year for Christmas. She also has a Betty Boop tattoo...lol. It's right above her ankle, and I know for a fact, she'd have a fit over your ornament ! I'll have to do some shopping around on the internet and see what other Betty Boop memorabilia I can find, get a head start on her Birthday and Next Christmas...lol.

BonkersBon- Oh my, do they still produce Betty Boop stuff! Just about anything you can think of they make it w BB on it. I've got some more BB ornaments... I'll have to photograph them and post for you guys. I wasn't sure if anybody else liked her, but it seems that she's pretty likeable. Bonkers, you the know of the Betty that I like, old school Betty from the 30's. That's when she began anyway. Dog-ears Betty. Her cartoons are where I first heard Cab Calloway, the scat- singing jazz musician. I loved his voice and just had to find out who was he was. I didn't discover Betty until the 90's, 60 years after she was created. It's hard to find old BB memorabilia, I've got two older pieces that I picked up at the flea market. Easy as pie to find new BB stuff though. Just a click away!

Linda or anyone else that's interested I bet you'll find one million BB ornaments online...

Okay, maybe not one million, but quite a few on my short search :) Hope that you find one that you like.

Flcrazy- My tattoo is on my ankle...which leg is your sister-in-law's tat on...? What Betty image is it? It better not be the same as mine!!! The one on my left ankle is the image of her on a motorcyle. I got it right after my dad died 6 years ago...he liked Harleys and rode one. My other tat is on my left shoulder blade and I had the tattoo artist draw that one up special. She's sitting w her arms back and kicking one leg up and giving you a wink. I had the guy put butterfly wings on her. She's really cute! Shh, don't tell your sister-in-law. I gotta keep my tat one of a kind, hehehe. I'll have to find another forum to post my Betty collection...
I posted some sites above of Betty ornaments. Amazon.com had a lot of her stuff. Boop-oop-a-doop, lol!

Oh My God isnt it amazing where links take us ? Cab Calloway - Minnie the Moocher the Blues brothers fantastic ! Flcrazy will know where Im coming from.

Yes its the old memorabilia that holds the appeal. A bit like original Mickey Mouse stuff that now only serious collectors can afford.I guess if we live to 150 the stuff we buying now might be worth something ?

My Grandfather left me a set of cards he collected in the 1930s when they used to be included in old razor blades.

Whats this got to do with gardening ? Absolutely nothing but hey this a community and surely relating to one another means something ?

Merry Christmas Tasteyg and thanks for sharing.

Ooh think Ive found a link .Betty Boop - Cab Calloway -Blues Brothers - Bonkers Blog - Jacques prize of gardening equipment. So rest easy Tasteyg Betty has been connected to gardening.

'Coming to you, on a dusty road
Good loving, I got a truck load
and when you get it, you got something
So don't worry,coming to you
chorus
'cause I'm a soul man .....!....lol. Thanks Tasteyg and Bonkers, it's been a blast walking down memory lane with the two of you !

Well Tasteyg, you can rest easy..lol, my sister in laws tattoo is above her right ankle and is a picture of Betty holding her dog and it's enclosed in a heart shaped circle. She also wound up getting three pairs of Betty Boop pajamas...lol, luckily none of them were the same design !
