Thanks Milky... This is one of our houses of Parliament...I really love Ottawa. it is my favourite Canadian city. across the river, behind the peace tower are the Gatineau Hills...beautifully scenic. This pic was taken at about 11 a.m. on Christmas Day, 2008. No skating on the canal yet, though.

Guess I should correct myself...the east block has offices, or had until recently...it houses a replica of the office of our first Primeminister...and is open to tours...the west block is currently in use as parliamentary offices and therefore is not open to the public tours. I love the verdigris copper roofs and all those chimneys and dormers!
