the Peace Tower

The Peace Tower is free standing...it is not part of the Centre Block but stands directly centred in front of it... it is 300+ feet tall. has an observation deck just below the clock faces and houses a memorial to Canada's War Dead. Directly in front of the tower is a perpetual flame, built to commemorate our centennial in 1967.
