I know this is not to do with gardening, but thought I'd show you how the guinea pigs are doing.

Hello Dougall. You're soooooooo sweet :)

All I can see is sheep! You are in your sleep ware, very appropriate just look at your jammies and count sheep. How are guinea pigs? do they get along with people well?

Not me, that's my youngest daughter. The guinea pigs very much consider Hannah their mother and are a little wary of anyone else still, but they are only young.

That's nice how they feel a mummy connection.

Love guinea pigs. Used to have 2 myself. Lots and lots of handling gets them tame and used to different people.

Thanks Potty I might get some as we cannot have other pets do to allergies.

PF - With small pets like that we always put them in shallow boxes so you can stroke and handle without them getting away. You are therefore more relaxed and no sudden 'grabbing' to catch them means they don't get scared off.

Great idea like a shoe box! I want something as I'm so used to having a pet around.

Yup, I cannot imagine life without fur or feather!

Yup could not agree more. But what about fin? I have two African frogs that have been with me now for over 24 years, yup out lasted two of my K nines. I guess Gillian is getting ready for New Years? They are ahead of me by 2 hours so it's 15:30 there. I'm staying right here in GOY where it's safe from drunkin fools behind the wheel.

Have had fin too, but only in the form of fish. How long can your frogs live?
Here it is 8.50pm, so just over 3 hours to go. We stay at home too, live out in the country so would need a taxi. Not really walking distance to anywhere. Prefer to be here!
Sorry Gillian, we seem to have hi-jacked your photo! :)

Ok, I'm back! After eating WAY too much free fudge I decided to clean out the hall closet and hand wash all the tiles in the kitchen, hall and bathrooms, scrub the kitchen cabinets and clean the stove. Yay sugar!
Am now relaxing with a cuppa.
Back to pets, I have an 18 year old red tailed shark that has survived been thrown in a plastic bucket for five house moves, two of them in the winter and one on the hottest day of the year. His tail goes really pale and he looks awful for a day, then just bounces back! He only gets cleaned out when we move house, otherwise I just clean his glass and filter and top up the water. Nice low maintainance pet!
Don't mind at being hi-jacked.
