Frog or toad? Mmmm, not sure. He/she was hiding under the shrubs and looking for a cool place for an afternoon nap out of the sun. Isn't nature wonderful, and right here on my doorstep (well, only a couple of feet away).

Oh lucky you. I would love to have frogs and / or toads in my garden. Sadly, I think its too dry here for them. I don't have a pond but I was hoping that there would be a couple of toads around. I was also hoping for some tree frogs but, no luck.

I'd say it's a frog. Toads are warty.

Thanks Hywel - we don't get many frogs in our garden, however, our cats enjoy bringing me frogs as gifts into the house, luckily they just 'play' with them and are unharmed when we pop them back in their hiding places.
