Puts things in perspective when we ve had rain for months , wouldnt you just love some of that ? It does seem that global conditions becoming more extreme whatever the weather.

As Ams says hope this breaks soon for you as must be so uncomfortable and potentially dangerous, incredible Greenthumb in Alaska with nearly -50
you in Australia with nearly + 50 !

Yes some rivers are dry. Yes there is a drought. BUT when it rains and water manages to get into some rivers it is pumped out to grow COTTON and RICE would you believe. I'm sure someone will try to grow Piranhas and export them to south America!!

Heard about the big chill you all are experiencing. Sounds, as we would say, " a bit rugged". The is an upside though, the spring thaw will bring plenty of water for the garden. Please pipe some here!!

Hi Marguerite,

I took this picture wile going therough Hay on my way to Parkes (The Dish and all). I guess with all the rain in Burke some might flow here. But it is really "desert territory" on the Hay plains.
