Help! Aeonium tabuliforme “Dinner Plate Aeonium”

I'm going to see if I can't start some from leaf-cuttings...

mine look the same or worse. i have been removing all soft stuff. but some are still hard in the middle. so fingers crossed..

Definitely, fingers crossed Sandra. Do you know if you can make new plants from the leaves of this one and how to go about it?

you can take leaf cuttongs. but they work better in the summer. it is also better to use a healthy plant.....i;ve given mine a short back and sides....its not pretty but i think its working on some of them...

I'm really bummed out about this one...It will never be the same will it Sandra, that perfect flat rossette that I bought last year...

Hi Tasteyq, sorry about the plant. I had one a while back and lost it to excessive wet. I was told that this aeonium suffers from this more than the other varieties. Perhaps its because the water can't drain away as easily on a flat plant!!! I don't believe leaf cuttings will work, stem cuttings are the usual, but as it doesn't have any stem that could be a problem. So I guess that leaves (sorry 'bout the pun) seed as the means of propagation.

Thanks for the 411 Chloris, I picked off the mushy bits, like Sandra suggested. It's in sad shape...we'll see if it pulls through.
