Our 1st snow taken at 7.30 this evening

Ha ha ha Yes Eileen.....but not really....about an inch, but a lot more is forecast for us. But I really hope we dont get it. I have been out there today and the wind is so bitter cold

Yes, I think there'll be more tomorrow too, just hope schools don't close (that's Mum being selfish!)
We did have a chortle at the news tho - decided there must be "no news" today because the reporter who was doing his best to wax lyrical about "arctic conditions" was standing in a light dusting of snow at best - clear wet pavement etc behind him in full view.
What do they take us for?!

Heard forcast... lots of snow....PANIC.....severe weather warning......honestly what is the matter with people in this country....predicting chaos, wasnt like this when I was a slip of a girl, didnt stop us going out to dances at the back end of beyond, and unfortunately my school never shut down!!! and we still got to work and was expected to get there........sigh

Schools all closed here Weeding, the streets are full of kids enjoying it. and we have had plenty more...........

School did close, but only at lunchtime, and only for my eldest, so luckily for my employer i could work normal hours today. Think tomorrow will b a diff. story.
Kids have all been outside enjoying it now - we're in a cul de sac, so it's great they have their freedom. : ))
Gardens all look so pretty too.

One thing about a covering of snow. It makes my garden look good.
