This plant is popularly displayed during Chinese New Year. Today is the last day of Lunar New Year. The leaves are usually tied with red ribbons.

I have it too. but mine is still small. Abt only 3 leaf spikes/ stems only. I wonder what's its name.. :p

Thanks tasteyg. Appreciate this. :) My mum never buys any plants. She just get those dying plants from her neighbours and friends and then revives them. she's called 'Plant Doctor'. :p as such, sometimes, I don't know what plants she has. lol

Chinese Fortune Tree. I have this one. It likes very little water. I water mine about once a month Lovely plant isn't it? I've noticed that it gets one new frond or leaf spike a year.
