This plant was grown from a small cutting taken from my friends plant. She bought the mummy plant into work to see if I could identify it. I had no idea what it was, so using the internet, I found this fab site called....Grown on You! I asked a bunch of friendly gardening folk the question and it wasn't long before the suggestions rolled in - and all thanks to this website the mummy plant had a name! The mummy plant was looking a littel bit poorly as my friend didn't know how to care for it. I took it home with me and gave it just a little TLC, I took a couple of stems off to tidy it up a bit as it was a bit leggy and rooted the cuttings in a glass of water until I saw root activity. Then potted them up - now mummy plant had 2 babies and this is one of them! And as you all know...I love free plants. I took the mummy plant back to work to hand back after it had gained some strength and I gave my friend more info on how to care for the mummy plant. She now has more free plants from cuttings she has taken herself and the mummy plant is growing well....that's all thanks to Grows on You! This one is about 18" high now, I might take another cutting or two and....you've guessed it....get more plants for free!
