Thanks for telling me. I'm quite hopeless with names and appreciate you took the trouble to tell me the name.

Could this be a rain lily? Habranthus robustus maybe?

Thanks, Chloris. I compared the pictures of habranthus vs crocus in the internet, and think the foliage looks more like crocus.
This is a wonderful site, at last i'm starting to learn names. All this while i call plants "red flower".... "yellow flower" ....

hey Autumn, I think it looks like the rain lily (Zephyranthes grandiflora).

JJ, The stem is weak like Spring onion. The flower is 2 inches across. The stem is also shorter than all the lilies I've seen. And 1 last thing, its so cheap , S$2, unlikely to be a lily. Lily bulbs cost way more. So what is this ? a crocus ? maybe the next time we go to that nursery, we ask the uncle what it is.

Rain lily is not the usual kind of lily. Maybe cheap? Have you seen the photos? The pink exactly like yours! Also small and the stem is like spring onion.
