Good times ahead, planning what's going to go in there!

now i need alot of advice on what to put back in !i would like flowering plants,could i plant a buddlia? I also love flowering cherry trees.Iwould like to put something in front of the horrible stark wall !

Roses?

Buddlea will bring in the butterflies but will grow quite big and need hard pruning back each spring. a wisteria in a large pot would cover some of the wall but you'd need some wires attached to the wall for support. I'm assuming the wall gets sunshine on it at some time in the day. what about something fragrant, as the bed appears to be near the patio.Some annual nicotiana have lovely evening scent as well as lots of others.Including roses as Gilli suggested.
