Why didn't you lie on the ground with your camera pointing upwards, like me with the Hellebore? LOL.

At my age, if I lie on the ground, I remain there until some kind soul helps me to my feet accompanies by heavy groaning noises (mine, not the helper).

Aren't they beautiful. Stay off the ground then Bernard....you could end up being there for days. LOL

If I lie on the ground, Paddy (our terrier) thinks I want to play and jumps on me. No chance of getting a photo then from any angle! Lovely clear close up Bernard.
