Red Robin

It's my birthday today and I chose a couple of plants from the Garden Centre from my hubby. I decided on a couple of Photinia Red Robins. These are the dwarf variety which will reach up to 80cm, perfect for the place I had dug out ready. I wanted something evergreen and these also have new foliage which is red. I stood and studied the garden this weekend after clearing it ready for spring and summer planting and thought it looked a bit bare - I need more evergreens.....another trip to the Garden Centre is on the cards I think....and it's pay day on Thursday too! Yippee!
