My 5 year old daughter has a book, it says bees like flowers in these colours : blue, purple, yellow, white

and it also says, birds like bright coloured flowers like red and orange .....

I'm starting to observe if its true .....

Actually now that I think about it - the honeyeater birds we get around here do love the red flowers of the ixora and russelia plants. The native bees we get generally go to the yellow and white flowers of the dwarf mussaenda, the white flowers of the acnistus and the purple flowers of the duranta. Maybe it's true!
