The edges are a little pale yellow.
Picture was taken in the morning, when it is slowly opening ....

The petal feels different from the common hibiscus. This feels thicker.

Maybe the thickness helps it stay open longer. This fella doesn't drop off within the same day. The next day, its still fully opened and looks nice. It could be the past few days, the weather is cloudy, rainy and sunny all in the same day ....
Most hibiscus over here drops off in the same day.
