It's Euphorbia milii, ( 'crown of thorns' )

I used to have one years ago. Sometimes all the leaves would fall off but they grew back. It has sharp thorns ( you probably know that )

Actually, I haven't taken a close look, and i didn't realise they are thorny, thanks for the warning :)
