I like dried seed heads. I like to see their structure.

Ah! Hywel, gat youself some Oriental poppies and some statice, they make beautiful dried flower heads. In the case of the poppies it is the seed heads I use. They also look good painted after being dried.

They self seed but never in a bunch, one here and another there so doesn't give much of an effect in the garden. But they are lovely.
