planted 12 of these last week. Today the pots are flooded with rainwater. I'm not expecting them all to make it, with this weather.

Are these lilies of some sort?

Irish, you are also affected by the weather
Tasteyg, yes, lilies, but i think i see only 2 tiny shoots. The rest have drowned with the heavy downpour daily.... I don't even know if the 2 tiny shoots can make it ??

Autumn, all my sunflower seedlings got drowned in the rain of uprooted by the wind, except the one on my window sill. But my begonias are rooting already..I was so happy to see the first baby roots..the ones in the soil werent' successful. I tried three methods..leaf with petiole in water, leaf with petiole in soil and leaves with veins in soil.

JJ, i have heaps of sunflower seeds, let me know if you need more. My pots are all flooded, so i will stop planting until the weather improves. Maybe meanwhile, can do stuff like kill mealy bugs, get rid of ant nest, tie support sticks, etc ...
where you put the begonia cuttings ? windowsill ?

yeah..window sill. No space left..need some space for laundry..lol
I still have many seeds. Didn't plant many cos no space. Best place for now cos of the rain , is still the window sill.
No ant nests and mealy bugs problem. Thank God :)..main problem is space.
