I see the similarity, but I think that it's different than rhodiola rosea. It doesn't have that whispey center (bottle-brushish looking). It's funny though when I was looking up Euphorbia I saw a photo of this...so possibly a type of Euphorbia...
I think I got it with your help of course...

i can see its the euphorbia now...lol
some of the weeds on the website are sooo lovely. i know they can cause damage to the native populations. we have Alexanders--smyrnium olusatrum in our hedgerows in summer and they wipe out all in their path. they are so big and through their black seeds everywhere.....

i think its a type of crassula called rhodiola rosea. common name rose root as its roots smell of roses. its an iteresting plant included in a lot of herbal remedies. maybe......;o))
