butterfly with white legs

Looks similar to my grey hairstreak butterfly. It's cute :)

Tasteyg, you have so many very lovely flowers with gorgeous colours, they will attract plenty butterflies :)

Hahaha but when they were little caterpillars we find them horrible..greedy etc..lol
Autumn I saw a similar one at Warwick. I haven't posted the photo..thought not so colourful :p I'll go back to compare.

Lovely butterfly....Justjan, the caterpillers can be beautiful too....just not in too many numbers. LOL

I like having butterflies around ... JJ, if identify which plants are the favourite host plant of the butterflies to lay eggs, then keep a constant look out, when too many eggs, tear away the leaf to minimize the caterpillar problem. Also, can "enlist" the help of the birds to eat the caterpillars.

I don't have a problem with caterpillars cos the butterflies seldom fly to the 12th floor where I'm at..lol..I like butterflies :) Can only see them in the garden downstairs or in the parks.
