No not really. I have 6 cockerels (3 different breeds) and they are pretty quiet 'til I let them out at around 8.00am.
Not had any complaints yet!!!

I have one cockeral he starts crowing around 6 I live in the country side so I dont get any complaints. In the summer he starts around 4. He crows at the rooster who lives on a farm down the road from me I think they have a crowing compition each morning LOL

we are trying to sort out a chicken run so we can have chickens. we have a house and the wire. its on the list....

Good luck with that Sandra, but a word of warning...... Chicken keeping becomes addictive! You start off with perhaps a trio and before you know it you have 40 like me! Great fun though! Enjoy!

we had some years ago ended up with lots of old non egglaying pets...he he. looking forward to the eggs. ;-))

Yeah! The eggs are great I'm getting 2 dozen a day at the moment, but loads of buyers for truly free range eggs with yolks the colour of a clementine, and a taste that only a really fresh egg can deliver.
