Garden visitor - Common Koel - female

This is the female Common Koel - females have the red eye. Koels look a lot like the Spangled Drongo (which I've posted before) except for their tails. The koel's song is lovely.

Unfortunately the poor guinea pig has met his end and is no more - but I would have gladly sent him to you a week or so ago!

Oh dear. Poor guinea pig.
I don't like birds and I discourage them from my garden. Blodyn helps me.
Now my brother and I used to keep guines pigs as pets when we were kids. They're dear little things to have. We used to let them run about the garden - they didn't do any damage. Much nicer ceratures than birds. ( well I think so anyway )
