This Mullien emerged in my garden last year. It grew to seven feet tall. I'm hoping to get more this year.

Well, well....I thought I was the only crazy gardener on the planet and you're proving me wrong... I like mullein very much...I had some come up adventitiously in my front garden...and my neighbour rushed right over and offered to pull them out for me... It's not like you don't get any warning. they are biennial and the lovely rosette of leaves, fuzzy, grey-green, cushion overwinters and resumes to grow to the height of a saguaro, with as many branches. the chickadees compete madly and they have literally ripped the seeded stocks to ribbons. lol.
