After a good pruning this time last year we were repaid with a lovely little tree

very pretty. is this a small tree? or is it a shrub grafted to a standard ?
I think I've seen a pic of this same tree on another members page.
Never been much of a fan of willows. Lived in the far north (canada) where the swamps are mostly scrub willow...their seeds are windborne, a white fluffiness that coats every thing...exposed ground, animal fur, human hair...it looks like snow it is so thick...and it germinates to a green mat/fuzz anywhere...likes moisture and puts down such roots that it's impossible to till the soil. the roots will wrap themselves around the tines of a tiller. Your little tree looks quite civilized though...foliage is pinkish, and silver green?
