2 hardy geraniums, Solidago 'loddens gold' and a fern in the shade of a holly and hydrangea. Ajuga is also creeping around in there too

mine are all pretty dry and i add lots of garden compost when i plant and as a top dressing spring and early autumn. my soil is chalky too.

Lovely shady spot. My shady spots are also dry spots so its hard to find plants to use.
