Male skimmia flowers. although a much smaller plant, the flowers are much bigger than the female's

While skimmias will tolerate sun, they do require moisture at the root and the leaves will go yellow if the soil is too dry for them. I suggest a really good watering and then a mulch of well-rotted garden compost. Repeat the mulch each year to improve the water holding of the soil. Good luck

What a lovely,healthy looking plant Andrew. My skimmia has flowers but the leaves have gone yellow. I guess it's in the wrong place or wrong soil.
