Flowering Current

This flowering current was once a tiny cutting years ago. Last year it flowered for the first time. It is the yellow flowering variety.
It is very attractive, in both its leaves and flowers. It gets cut back severly after its flowers have gone. The boundary fence is only about 30 inches high, and I try to keep it level with that.
