the grasses are planted in the bark on the other side of the path. they look great now they are established

Yes, and now they are, you'll probably find baby grasses coming up in the gravel and bark . They do like to self seed!

i never knew that. will watch out for them. i was going to plant some extra grasses around the bark now i will wait and see

I have had quite a few self seedlings come up and I just carefully lift them and put them where I want them.
