I know there are at least three newts in my pond. Two were together but by the time I had fetched the camera, one had disappeared

We didn't have much frogspawn this year & are blaming the newts for eating it.

Yes Sid, for the last few years I have given frogspawn to a friend of mine because the newts were eating hers, now, this year I think the tables have turned & my few newts have multplied & have eaten our spawn.
