This can become very large so will keep it pruned.

Yes Kate it does......we no longer grow this one......it was massive, a real show stopper ........but when we tried to keep it small it became diseased....

Hi Dd, just been looking at viburnums on the site, this is a real beauty you have. Is this viburnum go by the name of snowball also? Or am I thinking of another flowering shrub?
