This is brilliant ground cover. Coloured leaves through out the year then a mass of small blue flower spikes.

The adverts at the side of the page sell this for about 5.99
This is such an easy plant to grow. I shall start potting some up.

I accidentally pulled a bit off mine last autumn, almost chucked it on the compo, but then thought I might as well pot it up as it had a bit of root and I was planning a carboot this spring - well, it's completely outgrown its 3" pot by about 4" all round and has a flower spike right in the middle! Bet s'one will snap it up straight away :-)

I spent ages today potting on loads of different seedlings. Tomorrow I will be potting up some Ajuga.

Well worth doing, last year i made a killing on ebay with this and white violets, i knocked loads of them out, just kept digging them up in the garden and potting up another tray and another tray, - infact it's safe to say i payed for most of my garden projects last year with these little plants :o)

That's great Ang! My little trees sell, but I've never found the perennials sell very well unless I put them on on a silly low price.... hoping to do a carboot next week tho.

I do sell them at low prices Sid, - just sell lots of them. people don't want to pay huge prices because of postage costs, unless what you are selling is very hard to come by anywhere else. unusual varieties go well - like my geranium cuttings and seeds are good cos you can offer them free post. i find that i do very well on multi sales - and sell plants when they are small so that they only cost a couple of pounds to post. it's a lot of messing about for little money, I know i'll never get rich from it, but i enjoy the propergating and the post office is not far - and in with the bonus it gives me a bit of spare cash to spend on more plants :-)
