Yes, it is a Cardoon, with all the mild weather we have had this year it has got off to a good start. I do have to thin out the leaves from around the bottom of the plant when it reaches its full height to allow some light on the smaller plants.

'Tete a Tete' is such good value - so many flowers per bulb - and in all this wind, these are the only daffs still standing in my garden.
What is the grey leafy thing in the foreground? Cardoon? Artichoke?
