Why are you tulips out before your daffodils?

This is the only one out..It has bloomed before the stem has grown.
The others are growing normally.

Premature is right. How wild.

It is weird, isn't it greenthumb..2 others like this have come up, nowhere near this..Has me worrying I may have mixed up some bulbs!
I do plant my bulbs a little on the deep side, to protect from frost and the high winds as well. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Could be, but odd this one of all of them has come like this. I think it just started early and then had to bloom although it hadn't grown much yet. Thats my guess. :-)
