Photinia or Pieris?

They look so much alike to me, in books anyway, and I lost the label long ago.

Thanks Janette, that's what I seem to remember buying, but having seen lots of Pieris pictures recently I began to wonder. I'll put it on my garden photographs now.

Photinia is this colour all the time but I think pieris only has the new growth red in spring

Pieris leaves are much smaller, and often also bear 'trusses' of white flowers in spring.
