Aquilegia Vulgaris (Columbine) (Aquilegia Vulgaris (Columbine))

My art work.
Flowers may be eaten raw. Being rich in nectar they have a sweet and delightful taste, besides making a very attractive addition to mixed salads. They also a good thirst-quenching munch in the garden.
The flowers are also used as a tea substitute.
