They are so adorable now, but it's a shame that the neighbors don't get their animals fixed. There are tons of strays in the neighborhood and they don't look healthy.

Exactly my point Puddles! People need to be responsible for their animals and a lot of people are not! I don't think that anyone is claiming the mother cat, but I'm pretty sure that it came from one of the many litters from next door. It cost us over $500 for surgery on our dog's eye that was scratched from some stray cat in our yard a few months ago.

Pure neglect to not spay/neuter animals.
I know a lady who saw a dog being neglected when her little boys were young. She got one of the boys to go take the dog late at night, figuring if he was caught it would be a case of the boy wanted to see the dog.
She gave it to her mother, who had it for like 15 years.
Maybe your neighbours pets could find good homes too........

They are very beautiful, but such a shame if there is no-one to love them. There is no excuse really as you can get cats neutered for free these days and un-neutered toms can be a real pain, getting into fights and spreading disease etc. My cat is often being attacked by a local tom and it costs me a fortune at the vets getting him fixed up afterwards.
