This is a wonderful one. Wild orchid is a whole different creature to me. I've called them paphiopedilum, so I googled after seeing your cypripedium. Seems there is also phragmipedium and mexipedium all genus of lady slipper orchids. Whoa!

oh, thankls, GT. I didn´t know that. So, we have only one around. And: though You can buy them in shops, these few last wild ones get digged out by THUGs.

The orchid hunting game is very questionable, taking them from the wild, especially when there are very few left.
