happy in a little bit of open garden, used to have 2 silver birch forming the canopy.

yes the spanish is bigger, more vigourous, more flowers evenly spaced around the stem and unfortunately hybridises with the british one. this affects the gene pool of our natives. part of me knows i should dig them up but they are so pretty. they are at opposite end and sides of the garden so i am hoping the bees dont find them.

You can tell they are Spanish, they do better in the sun. Ha ha.
