Great looking houseplant :)

Magnificent philodendron.

Inherited a rubber plant from my mom in 04, I remember driving that plant from Pittsburgh to Houston when we moved in Dec of '73. I had just gotten my liscense that summer and we had 3 cars. My dad drove his with the dog and my mom drove hers with my little sister and I drove a old tiny little Ford Pinto with that plant. A blizzard in Arkansas had us stuck in Little Rock for 3 days! It was a real experience! Something I wouldn't want to do again, I swear that plant was tickling my ear the whole way! That plant is lucky I'll still water it! : )

What a great story Wohlibuli. Yes, "big boy" as I call him, has a long history. Is your rubber plant still thriving? I can just see you driving that Ford Pinto in a blizzard with plant branch tickling your ear. Lucky you are.

You will see more pics of "big boy". I just moved him to the outside porch where he will spend 2 weeks. Then out to the garage, and finally outdoors.
The adventures of "big boy" will continue....

I decided my little sis should have the plant, once she got rid of the husband. So I kept it for her until last year and now it resides back in PA, in Philly this time. I kept it alive, but only just. After that experience we never did get on well, I'd water but only when I had to and it would grow but only as little as it could! House plants aren't my forte.

Wonderful philodendron. I'll have to give mine a little summer outing. Probably do it well.
