When Daisy's father was this age he did the same thing with worms, always straight into his mouth, yuk... then one day I heard a cry of wonder and turned around to see a stag beetle about to go the same way. Luckily I rescued them both from a horrible fate, so an interest in nature obviously runs in the family!
